Can the passenger airbag have a switch wired into it so it can be
turned off when a shorter person is in the front seat?

Go to the parts dept. and find out how the wiring diagram is for the Tacoma
and go from there. I’m sure you can find the answer (as to which wire to
splice a switch in) there. Because I have NO IDEA what wire to splice the
switch into. Once you find that out though, it’s all downhill from there.
Switches are easy and there’s so much variety: Flip, dip, toggle, lighted,
no lights, lighted when on, lighted always, lighted when off, so many
choices.
