Could anyone please tell me if there is a way to interpret toyota engine
light codes without any special tools.
I know K-Cars, and some other vehicles, have a way of interpreting
problem codes by turning the ignition key a number of times and counting
light flashes.
Is there a similar process I can use to determine the reason for the
"check engine light" coming on?
I have a 1985 4runner with a 22RE engine if this helps.

I am a cash-strapped young man trying to repair a 1990-4runner I inherited.
Antenna replacement should be easy but I can’t seem to remove the original
(broken) stem. Does the base unscrew?..I can’t get it to budge. I can remove
most of the antenna (The very top and the long retractable insides), but the
broken off bottom shell remains stuck in the base.
Any advise is appreciated and thanks in advance,

i have an 88 toyota 4×4 and it is getting very poor fuel about 14 miles
per gallon , its a rebuilt 3.0 liter with about 120 000km on it other
than the milage it works great any sujestions ?

As you are all aware they sag…but how much is normal? I have about
1.5" between the rubber snub and the frame…is that normal?
