Filed under: Uncategorized — admin @ 7:02 pm

The idea of the the running lights is great for safety concerns but there
are times when you would won’t the things off, Hunting Fishing, watching the
4th of July fireworks  ect, ect.    Is there a single fuse that can be
pulled to kill them temporarlily??  If so does anyone know where I can find
it?   Thanks

4 runner purchase

Filed under: Uncategorized — admin @ 7:02 pm

I¹m thinking about buying a 4 runner used, some where between 96 and
2K.  I assume that the V6-SR5 is the way to go.  I can¹t imagine the 4
having enough omph for hiway and AC.  Any other items too look for or
better years?  I assume it can be had manual?

Thanks,
 Fritz

You need a factory service manual. Whatever it costs you is worth it. It
will give you so much information you will feel like crying for all the time
you wasted with Chilton’s and Haynes.

4-Runner Fuel Light

Filed under: Uncategorized — admin @ 7:01 pm

I own a 1995 4-Runner (3.0 Liter Diesel).
It seems that in the dash (behind the fuel level instrument) ther is a
red light (a rettangular LED ?)that should be the low fuel red light
alarm. In my car it doesn’t work. I bought my car 1 year ago and I’ve
never seen this light working. I tried to lower the fuel level at
minimum but nothing to do.
Someone could suggest me a simple way to check the lamp (I don’t know
how to reach it) or some electric connection ?
Thank you for your attenction.

Re: 99 Tacoma OEM Speaker Problem?

Filed under: Uncategorized — admin @ 7:01 pm

You are getting the same power to all speakers, but the rear speakers are
probably larger.  This is requiring them to need more power.  I suggest
getting a small 4channel amp and sending a fair amount of power to all 4
spks, 4×50 should be sufficient.

body lift on '88 4runner

Filed under: Uncategorized — admin @ 10:41 am

Hey guys, a buddy of mine wants to do a body lift on his forerunner,
(’88 five speed with power steering) and we were trying to figger out
how much he could get away with before he encountered problems with the
steering column. We checked out the ones at an auto supply place and
while there were only ones for J**ps there looking at them they’d be
easy to make. UNLESS some strange adapter was necessary for the steering
or shifters. The common size at the store seemed to be 3 inches and
while the kit isn’t all that expensive for his truck ( 170 canadian ) if
all there is to it is a bunch of spacers and little extensions for his
shifters , why not make up a kit for a quarter the cost?
 I’d appreciate any input,
  thanks
   Ryan.
