I am taking my 87 4Runner in soon for its long awaited timing chain. I was
wondering if anyone knew of a good(affordable) shop around the Denver area.(I
live in Estes Park but thought more of you would know Denver). Also does anyone
know about how much the job should be? I’ve been told a few prices but want to
compare. Thanks in advance.

I have been shopping for a new ride. I have looked at everything, it seems.
New and old Grand Cherokees (My wife has a ’93 grand laredo we love). 2k
cherokees. Durangos. Explorers. F-150′s. Pathfinders.
Havent looked at the 4runner yet. Anyone here own one? Or have ever owned
one?? how do they (or the others mentioned above) compare with a
cherokee??? off-highway?? on-highway???
My rig: 1989 cherokee 4L Laredo. Had it 5 years, put 100k miles on it. It
has 221k miles on it now. I use it off-highway regularly, and intend on
using the new rig in a similar fashion. I also do a lot of interstate
driving with it.
any comments appreciated.

Does anyone know where I can find a Aftermarket company that sells molding and trim pieces for a 1982 4×4 pickup?
I’m driving an 89 4×2 (xcab, but I doubt that
matters), and the spare tire carrier seems to be
completely stuck. There’s a lot of rust on it,
and I suspect it’s more or less rusted in place.
At the moment I’ve got the spare cable-locked to
a tiedown in the bed; can anyone suggest good
options? I’d like to get the spare carrier
working, but I realize that might not be possible
at this point.

Before you buy.
I want to permanently wire in my radar detector, but can find no place to take auxiliary power from. Is there some place I can hook the 2 wire, so there is power available when the key is on, and no power when it is off?
