Rollover of Toyota 4 Runner two wheel drive

Greetings! I made a mistake in my last post. I forgot to write that I am
thinking of buying a two wheel drive 4 Runner. This will be never be used
for off-roading. How does 2 wheel drive 4 Runner’s behaves in city driving?
What is it’s history regarding rollover? Is it better than Ford Explorer? I
apologize for my mistake. With thanks.

blown relay circuit board for rear window/door

I had the relay circuit board go out on my 1990 4runner.  I got a used
one from TAP recycling but it only lasted about 8 times of raising the
window.  Does any one have any idea what may be causing this to blow.
These things aren’t cheap and I don’t want to fry another one.  Please
respond to my email address if possible.  thanks in advance for any
help with this.  rick

'90 4runner pops out of 1st gear

Hi all…

Yet another challenge with my old Yotoyduh (1990, 5 sp, 3.0, 192K).

When letting out the clutch from a stop in 1st, the transmission pops out of
gear with a horrible BANG.  I’m pretty sure I’ll get rear-ended soon…

Used to happen only occasionally, now almost all the time.

I have a very bad feeling about this…

Any suggestions?

Thanx!

Pete

Gauges on New Tacomas

I looked at new Tacoma 4×4′s today and was surprised that none have oil
pressure gauges  or . voltmeters.  If I buy one I would want to install an
electric oil pressure guage and voltmeter.  Anyone have any
recommendatations concerning appropriate gauges.

Replace Fuel Filter?

I have a 92 4×4 V6 pickup. I have never replaced the fuel filter and I was
wondering if I am supposed to? I noticed it is under the truck and made of
metal. I have always replaced fuel filters in other vehicles when they were
made of plastic and easily accessible in the engine compartment.

SnugTop Users

Anyone ’01 or ’02 Tundra owners out there with a SnugTop SuperSport cap?
Would you share your experience? Is it worth the extra couple hundred
dollars over a Leer 100XL or A.R.E. Z Series cap?

Thanks ahead,
David

Tacoma extended cab and child seat

I’m thinking about buying a used Tacoma 4×4 extended cab, but I’m not sure
it will fit a child seat behind the passenger seat.  The child seat needs to
be rear facing for the first year, then forward facing after that.  Can
anyone tell me if one will fit, or if a certain one will do the job?

I know I could go to a dealer and try it out, but I hate those S.O.Bs.

Appreciate it.

Joe
