Hi all. I just installed a new tonneau cover on my 2002. I recommend
Sportmasters hinged cover. It runs about the same cost as a standard soft
cover, but it is hinged in the middle. If you need to access something that
has slid to the back of the bed, rather than unsnapping the cover to get at it,
just flip a latch, and the whole cover frame tilts up on pistons. Check out
www.sportmaster.com for more information or e-mail me at Mjd…@aol.com

I was driving my 2001 Highlander today in about 95-100 degree temperature
when the air conditioner fan quit blowing. There was still cold air coming
out of the vents but I could not get the fan to blow. After I got home
and let the vehicle cool down the AC fan started working again.
Does anybody have any input on what may be the cause of this behavior.

Anyone ever swapped seats in their runner?
I have the cloth seats with no power options, but would love the power
drivers seat with more options,
anyone know how tough it might be to switch, can I just unbolt the old and
plug and bolt in in the new seat? (hopefully)
anyone know were I could get a different seat?
I’m looking for a power drivers seat in cloth Tan colored interior (don’t
want leather)
thanks
Dave

I installed the TRD flares aftermarket on my 96 SR5 Taco… On the
rear drivers side I sort of flubbed the job and now it is not adhering
near the gas tank door.
The short radius of the curves made it a little tricky to get the
rubber trim aligned correctly. Anyone have any advice on how to do
this? (I am going to have to reorder the trim and redo the
installation).
Any idea what Toyota wants for the trim strip?
If anyone has a copy of the TSB I would like to see that too – I am
curious to know if it outlines any "tricks" to getting the trim to
align correctly.
Thanks to all,
J.

I’d like to find out what speakers will fit in my 4Runner before I rip
the doors open – can someone tell me what the largest speakers are that
will fit in the front and rear doors? It looks like there are probably
6.5′s in the front and 4.25′s in the rear judging by the grilles, but I
was able to replace the OEM 4.25′s with 6.5′s in my old Celica and MR2,
so I’m wondering if I can do the same with these.
While I’m at it, if anyone has any tips on lock-securing a sub box in
the rear, that would be great. I have a good alarm installed now, but
I’m still not wild about letting a box sit unsecured.
Thanks!
