Toyota JBL system too bassie

I own a 2001 Land Cruiser, it came with the JBL system from the factory.
Does anyone else here who has the same system find it too Bassie when tuned
to local FM radio stations?  Is there any way to fix this?

TIA

Mass Air Flow Sensor 22RE ??

I think I messed up my MAFS while messing with it.  The flap under it wasn’t
closing properly making the engine run rich & rough.  Now it won’t start or
spark at the coil

Question:

Under the silicone sealed plastic lid, I used WD-40 to loosen the shaft the
flap pivots on.  I am wondering if I could have damaged the circuitry.

Perhaps I may have reconnected the three wires incorrectly.  Yeah I should
have labeled them

Actually if there were mis-attached it’d be the two on the right side as the
left one was obvious.  Any diagrams or clues as to how it is wired under
there?

 TIA

95 4Runner – ABS Disable switch?

Group,

Recenly I’ve found that the ABS is not to my advantage when driving in slick
mud or lightly
snow covered roads.  I feel that it is kicking in far too quickly and that I
could bring it much
closer to lockup myself and have better braking performance.  Has anybody
installed a switch
to disable on demand?

Any info appreciated.

What’s the best thing to do about the sagging rear springs in the 2nd gen.
4Runners? Something that doesnt cost much would be good..

Camel hot patch tube repair kits

Do you remember those hot patch inner tube repair kits made
by camel? (Not the tobacco company)

I went to NAPA, Autozone and Checker and no one
has them anymore.

Anyone have any ideas where I can find them?

They are the kind that you light a flammable compound after
you clamp the patch onto the tube and the heat bonds it.

New Tundra + FlowMaster

I have a new ’02 Tundra SR5 V8. It has less than 3,000 on it as of
today.
I have some extra cash (a rarety) and I’m considering having some
FlowMaster mufflers installed.

1. Is it wise to do this with the truck so new?
2. Will it void any part of my warranty if installed at this time?
3. Any suggestion as to what type/model FlowMaster would be best?
(Nice rumble, yet quiet inside)

Thanks for any help. I’m glad you folks are out there.

Engine RPM

Is it normal/ok for the engine to shift around 4000 rpm when accelerating?
It just seems a bit high, wondered if it was normal and stuff. I’m used to
engines that with automatic transmissions usualy shift sooner. Its a 95
4Runner 3.0 V-6.
Thanks,
-Bryan
