I recently purchased a Toyota hood deflector for my 98
4runner….after installing it my hood seems to vibrate at higher
speeds, and I’m assuming it is wind getting underneath it(that is what
it looks/acts like). Has anyone else had this problem?
Thanks
Michael

The wind going over it curls back around and this turbulence causes the
hood to vibrate. Since I have a black truck I had a 2" strip of black
vinyl cut and put that ont he leading edge of the hood, you can’t tell
it’s there unless you look for it, but it protects the front end as well
as any deflector.

You might want to try a lo profile hood deflector, works ok on mine, and you
hardly notice it
