Hello – I’ve read from a couple different places (Sleeoffroad.com is
one!) that you should not hookup the power antenna wire when
installing a aftermarket stereo. I assumed that this meant that you
would use the manual switches above the radio to bring the antenna up
or down.
I’ve hooked the stereo up (with the blue power antenna wire uphooked)
and the manual buttons do not work. Its acting similar to when you
are listening to a CD on the stock stereo.

What do I have to do to get the buttons to work or better yet behave
the same way as the factory unit?
