Knowing if the window is "automatic" (switch operable) is not the wrong
reason to buy a 2000 if you own two dogs that weigh about 300 lbs. total and
I have the convenience of opening it for them whenever I want to – which is
what I do now with my 96.  The only reason I asked, someone told me that
Toyota stopped producing electronically operated tailgate windows.
