Does anyone out there have any pros and cons about the REVTEK lift for the
Tacomas ? This style of lift increases the angle of the front CV drive
shafts which was a problem on the older trucks when people would crank on
the torsion bars .
Thanks
I installed the Revetek myself on my 2000 Taco 4×4 ext cab. It works
fine and installed easily. I haven’t tried to add anymore hieght to
it since then. I am running 32×12.5 on it. I did have to trim some
plastic out of the front fender wells to accomidate the tires from
scrubbing with two people in the cab.
Bottom line. The Revetek lift has taken me in and out of places the
OEM setup never could have. I have enjoyed the lift. The only bad
part is if I want to go higher I will have to purchase a body lift
(NOPE) or an entire new suspension lift. No options to go higher with
REVTEK.
Hope this helps…
